Team Notes
  • The Badgers continue to take care of the ball, recording 10 turnovers in the game. Wisconsin is averaging just 11.1 turnovers per game in Big Ten play.
  • Wisconsin tied a season high with 66 field goal attempts.
  • UW recorded a season-low eight fouls, which ties for sixth on the Badger single-game record list.
  • For the fifth straight game, the Badgers made and took more free throws than their opponents. Wisconsin was 7-of-10 (70 percent) from the line compared to 4-of-6 (66.7 percent) for the Terps.
  • The Badgers kept the Terrapins under both their scoring margin average and rebounding margin average. Maryland ranks second in the nation for outscoring opponent by an average of 29.5 points per game and were outrebounding their opponents of an average of 18.2 boards per game.  UW was outscored by 25 points and outrebounded by just nine.
  • Maryland scored 90 points, the second-highest single game total by an opponent this season. The Terrapins made an opponent season-high 38 field goals, shooting 55.1 percent (38-of-69) from the field, which is the second highest by an opponent. The Terps shot an opponent season-high 58.8 percent (10-of-17) from 3-point range.
  • Brionna Jones and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough both scored 22 points for Maryland, tying an individual season high for an opposing team. Walker-Kimbrough also set a season high, going 6-of-6 from 3-point range.
  • The Terps dished off an opponent season-high 23 assists while tying an opponent season high with six blocks.
  • Wisconsin tied a season low with two blocks.
  • Maryland was just 4-of-6 from the free throw line, tying for the second fewest attempts by an opponent this season. The Terps also recorded the second fewest fouls by a foe this season with 12.
Individual Notes
  • Senior Nicole Bauman shared game-high honors with 22 points, her third 20-plus point game of the season. The 5-10 guard shot 9-of-16 (56.3 percent), including 4-of-8 (50 percent) from 3-point range. Bauman's nine field goals tied her season high, which had been previously set at San Diego State on Nov. 29.
  • Senior Dakota Whyte had two steals to go over 100 takeaways for her career. The 5-8 guard has 101 steals in her fourth season. Whyte also had a season-high 17 field goal attempts, just one shy of her career high.
  • Redshirt junior Avyanna Young tied her season high by making six field goals.
  • Freshman Marsha Howard had her fourth career block and also picked up her second-ever assist.
