Meet the Francels: Taryn
March 27, 2008 | Women's Soccer
Wisconsin freshman soccer player Taryn Francel spent her spring break at home in San Diego, Calif., with her family. While there, Amberly Richardson of XK San Diego News pieced together a four-part series on Taryn, her two soccer-playing sisters, Tahnee and Tayler, and parents Ed and Candace. The first feature focused on Tayler, who graduates from Surf and Granite Hills High School in the spring of 2009 and who has already committed to play soccer at Purdue.
During the 2007-08 season with the Badgers, Taryn proved to the coaching staff she deserved a starting spot, which she saw five times in 14 games played.
