Watch as women’s rower, Lily Hansen, signs “Bucky’s Game Day Rules”
MADISON, Wis. — "I am what I am! That's a great thing to be!" – Dr. Seuss
To celebrate diversity and encourage students of all ages and abilities to immerse themselves in reading, Wisconsin Athletics created the Badger Storytime video series. Inspired by previous classroom visits, Badger Storytime videos showcase student-athletes reading their favorite childhood books out loud.
The newest video features women's rowing seniors Lily Hansen and Maren Schultz, but this time with an exciting new addition. As Schultz reads "Bucky's Game Day Rules" aloud, Hansen, Founder and President of UW-Madison's American Sign Language Club (ASL Club), stands alongside her signing in American Sign Language.
Badger Storytime videos are free and available on the UW Badgers website. Continue to celebrate reading with our previous videos starring student-athletes from men's and women's ice hockey, track and field and men's soccer.
