MADISON, Wis. – A week after earning All-WCHA First Team honors, Wisconsin women's hockey sophomores Kristen Campbell and Abby Roque received more league hardware as Campbell was named the WCHA Goaltender of the Year, while Abby Roque was named the WCHA Offensive Player of the Year.

Campbell, a Patty Kazmaier Top-10 Finalist, was also named the WCHA Goaltending Champion after posting the best goals-against average in conference play this year. Campbell has backstopped the Badgers in all 34 games, leading the nation in multiple goaltending categories. Campbell paces all NCAA Division I netminders in goals-against average (1.14), save percentage (.942), winning percentage (.882) and shutouts (11).

A native of Brandon, Manitoba, Campbell has earned several league and national honors, including three WCHA Goaltender of the Month awards, three WCHA Defensive Player of the Week awards and two NCAA Star of the Week honors.

The 2016-17 WCHA Rookie of the Year, Roque earned her second year-end award from the WCHA this year. Roque paces the Badgers in points with 35 thanks to nine goals and 26 assists. Four of Roque's nine goals this year have been game-winning efforts, which ranks second in the league, while Roque ranks fifth in the league in plus/minus with a +24 rating. Roque also ranks fourth in the league in faceoffs winning 60.9 percent of draws.

In addition to earning All-WCHA First-Team honors this year, Roque was named the WCHA Offensive Player of the Month for September and October.

Campbell and Roque will find out if they are named the WCHA Player of the Year on Friday before this weekend's WCHA Final Faceoff. The Badgers open the league tournament with a matchup against Bemidji State at 2 p.m. CT at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis.
