2018 NCAA Frozen Four events set for Badger fans

Open practice, giveaways, the UW Band and Bucky highlight NCAA fan events in Minneapolis

MADISON, Wis. -- Fans heading to Minneapolis for the 2018 NCAA Women's Frozen Four have a number of opportunities to join other Badger fans in the area!

The tournament weekend begins with the Badgers' open practice on Thursday, March 15, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. CT at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  This free event allows fans a sneak-peak at the Badgers as they prepare for their semifinal match-up with Colgate.

On Friday, all fans are encouraged to stop by Sally's Saloon at 4 p.m. for a pre-game fan event. Be there to receive Wisconsin Hockey State t-shirts, pom-poms, roller-banners, and more! At 4:45 p.m. join Bucky Badger and the UW Band to welcome the women's hockey team as they enter Ridder Arena for the NCAA "Red Carpet Arrival". The fan event will continue at Sally's after the "Red Carpet Arrival" and before the No. 2 Badgers face No. 3 Colgate at 7 p.m. in the second semifinal of the 2018 NCAA Frozen Four.

If Wisconsin wins on Friday, continue to back the Badgers at Sally's Saloon on Sunday at 11 a.m. Wear RED and gear up for game day with rally towels and beads. Free appetizers will be served courtesy of Wisconsin Athletics. Join the UW Band and Bucky Badger to welcome the Badgers back to Ridder Arena for the national championship at the NCAA "Red Carpet Arrival" at 11:45 am.
