Member of the 1916 and 1918 Big Ten Championship Teams
1918 Team Captain
Two-Time All-Big Ten
Coached at Unvirsity of Wisconsin-River Falls for two seasons (1919-21, Record: 27-7), Iowa State University for seven seasons (1921-28, Record: 40-85) and Marquette University for 21 seasons (1930-51, Record: 193-198)
Served on the National Association of Basketball Rules Committee at a time when many modern day rules were established
President of the National Association of Basketball Coaches in 1938 and was intrumental in forming the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament
Member of Marquette University's M Club Hall of Fame
