Guy Lowman

- Served as the head coach baseball coach in 1917-18 while also serving as the head football and basketball coach during the 1918-19 season
- In 1918, the baseball team was 4-9 and tied for sixth in the Big Ten at 1-5
- Football team was 3-3 in 1918 including a 14-3 win at Ohio State
- Basketball team was 34-19 in three years and won the 1917-18 Big Ten title in his first year, going 14-3 overall and 9-3 in conference play
- Returned to coach the baseball team from 1921-32, finishing with a 140-105 record in 13 years; won the 1930 Big Ten title with a 9-1 record
- UW's home baseball field was named Guy Lowman Field from 1952 until 1990, when the program was suspended
- While coaching three sports, he was also a professor of physical education and director of men's physical education at UW
- Also served as the chair of the College Physical Education Association, Wisconsin Society of Physical Education, and Western Conference Intramural Directors Association
