2000 Olympian in the 3000-meter steeplechase
Three-time United States champion in the 3000-meter steeplechase (1998, 1999, 2000)
Two-time participant in the World Track & Field Championships (1997 & 1999)
Participated in the 1998 World Cup and Goodwill Games
1997 NCAA champion in the 3000-meter steeplechase
Four-time All-American in track; All-American in cross country
Four-time Big Ten Champion including two straight in the steeplechase (1995 & 1996)
Six-time All-Big Ten
Went on to become a coach for 2016 Olympic silver medalist Evan Jager and 2021 Olympic silver medalist Courtney Frerichs
