- Served as the UW Women's Athletic Director (1983-89) and Assistant Athletic Director (1977-84)
- During her tenure, the budget for women's sports increase from $780,000 to $1.2 million)
- With the advent of Title IX in 1972, became a champion for the rights of female students who sought a chance to compete in intercollegiate athletics
- Co-hosted the first radio show for women's sports at Wisconsin
- Guided the 11-sport women's program to the 17th best in the country in 1989
- Wisconsin Alumni Association president and CEO since 2000
- Brought innovation and the alumni voice to programs, services and communications that are relevant and meaningful to UW-Madison's more than 400,000 alumni
- Member of the Chancellor's Leadership Council and the executive group overseeing advancement for UW-Madison
- Has worked tirelessly promoting issues of diversity and equal opportunity in both athletics and at the university
- Long-recognized as a leader in the Madison and university community, she is vice chair of Capitol Lakes Board of Directors; a member of the Madison Club, and Bascom Hill Society; and was honored with the Madison Civics Club Advocate Award in 1999
- Proud partner with UW Athletics for a variety of bowl and special athletics event alumni activities
