- Member of the 1981 NCAA Championship team; tallied three assists in the national championship game.
- Captain of the 1982 NCAA runner-up team; also named team MVP.
- Fifth UW player to record 200 points in a career (206).
- Ranks third on the UW career list in assists and finished his career ranked eighth in goals.
- Holds the UW record for fastest goal to start a period at five seconds.
- Elected to the Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame in 1994.
- National W Club Board Member from 1996-2003; served as president from 2003-2004.
- Established the Men’s Hockey Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund.
