  • In 2009, became the first Wisconsin true freshman to start a season-opening game on the offensive line
  • Earned first-team All-American honors in 2012 after starting 13 games at center
  • Selected as a UW captain in 2012
  • Part of the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Big Ten champion teams
  • Drafted in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys
  • In 2013, became the first rookie in Dallas’ franchise history to start every game at center; was selected to the NFL All-Rookie team
  • Named a captain for the Dallas Cowboys in 2016
  • Selected to five Pro Bowls and earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2016
  • The 2020 George Halas Award winner, given yearly by the Pro Football Writers of America to an NFL player, coach or staff member who overcomes the most adversity to succeed
