Second Annual Crew Friday Night Fights This Week

The Wisconsin women's lightweight, openweight and men's rowing teams will stage the second annual Friday Night Fights this Friday, Oct. 5th from 6-6:30 p.m. on Lake Mendota. The event will finish in front of the Memorial Union Terrace.
The race is an exhibition contest among members of the three varsity crews. Each boat will be comprised of members of each rowing team and will wear different colored shirts to distinguish themselves.
The race will prepare the women's teams for the Head of the Rock Regatta in Rockford, Ill., on Oct. 14 and all three teams for the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston on Oct. 20-21.
