Badger Coach Jane Albright is challenging fans to give her 15th-ranked Badger team (9-1) a great gift of a sold out Kohl Center. 'Cram the Kohl!' is a ticket promotion designated for the Wisconsin vs. Minnesota women's basketball game scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 20 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
There are several ways for fans to attend the game and, as an added incentive, Albright will donate a quarter-per-person of her own money to the local Ronald McDonald House if the event is sold out.
Below is an outline of promotions that are geared towards 'Cram the Kohl!' More information and ticket order forms can be found on the web at UWBADGERS.COM.
Take a Kid to the Game
' All fans can receive one free youth ticket with every regular price adult ticket purchased. Spend an afternoon with your son, daughter or neighorhood kid down the block.
' Take a Kid to the Game order forms are available online at UWBADGERS.COM or by calling 1-800-GO BADGERS.
' Take a Kid to the Game orders accepted in advance only by mail or in person at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office.
Group Tickets
' For this special day, group tickets are being offered for just $2 each to groups of ten or more. Perfect for a company outing or a group of friends.
' Group ticket order forms are available online at UWBADGERS.COM or by calling 1.800.GO BADGERS.
' Group ticket orders accepted in advance by mail. Groups orders also accepted in person at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in advance or on gameday.
High School/Junior High/Grade School Day
' All high school, junior high and grade school basketball teams are invited to attend at no cost.
' Teams are encouraged to wear their jerseys to the game.
' To reserve seats, simply fax your team roster to the Wisconsin Athletic Marketing Office at 608.262.2881 by Monday, January 14, 2002.
Scout Day
' All Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Brownies and all other scout groups can attend the game for just $2.
' Scout ticket order forms are available online at UWBADGERS.COM or by calling 1.800.GO BADGERS.
' Scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms to the game.
' Scout orders accepted in advance only by mail or in person at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office.
Gameday Promotions
Ronald McDonald House Donation
' Attend the game and help support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison (RMHC-Madison). If the game is a sell out, Coach Jane Albright will donate $0.25 for every person in attendance to RMHC-Madison. Cheer on the Badgers and support medically ill children and their families, a winning combination.
"Spin It Spectacular" Halftime Show
' Nationally acclaimed entertainer Robyn Rodgers will perform at hafltime. Robyn has entertained fans at NBA and WNBA events across the country. Fans will not want to miss this exciting performance.
Big Ten Dream Big Exhibit
' As part of the conference's initiative promoting girls' participation in sports, fans of all ages can take part in this traveling interactive exhibit. Test your skills and win some terrific prizes.
