Wisconsin Falls 4-2 at Boston College

No. 4 Boston College scored three goals in the game's first five minutes to defeat Wisconsin, 4-2, Friday night at Kelley Rink. The loss brings the Badgers to 3-2-0 overall record, while the Eagles soared to 4-0-0.
Sophomore David Spina opened up scoring for the Eagles when he notched one in past UW goalie Scott Kabotoff at 1:46 in the first period. The game-winning goal for the Eagles was scored by Ty Hennes at 3:45 in the first and brought the score to 3-0. After Hennes' goal Wisconsin replaced Kabotoff with Sophomore Bernd Bruckler, but returned Kabotoff less than a minute later.
Wisconsin's head coach Mike Eave's son, Patrick Eaves, scored two goals for Boston College in the match up, both in the first eight minutes of the opening period.
In the second period Wisconsin Freshman A.J. Degenhardt scored the first Badger goal of the game and brought the score to 4-1. The goal was Degenhardt 's first career goal. He was assisted by Freshman defender Tom Gilbert.
In the third period Wisconsin's Brad Winchester scored the Badgers second and final goal of the night at 17:14. Winchester maneuvered around the BC defense to beat goaltender Matti Kaltiainen high. Pete Talafous assisted on the goal.
Boston College outshot Wisconsin, 35-15. UW's Kabotoff made 30 saves.
The Badgers will conclude their weekend series on the road when they face off against Northeastern Saturday at 6:05 p.m. (CST).
