Badgers ranked 18th in CSCAA poll

The Wisconsin men's and women's swimming and diving teams are both ranked 18th, according to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll released this week. Both men's and women's teams are 3-0, 1-0 Big Ten after picking up two wins last weekend, defeating Toledo and Big Ten rival Iowa.
The top five men's swimming and diving teams in the CSCAA poll are Texas, Auburn, Stanford, California, and USC. The top-ranking women's swimming and diving teams in the CSCAA poll are Auburn, Georgia, Stanford, California, and Florida.
The Big Ten Conference has five men's and three women 's swimming and diving teams in the poll. For the men, Michigan and Minnesota are seventh and eighth, respectively. Penn State is secure at the 14th spot and Wisconsin and Northwestern round-off the top 25 coming in at T18th and 20th, respectively. On the women 's side Indiana is ranked 13th and 2002 Big Ten Champion Penn State is 16th. Wisconsin has earned 18th, which concludes the Big Ten representation in the top 25.
The Wisconsin men's and women's swimming and diving teams are competing again Nov. 1 in Tucson, Arizona at the Arizona Triangular meet.
