Wisconsin women's rowing earned a bid to the 2005 NCAA Rowing Championships yesterday - head coach Bebe Bryans will chat at uwbadgers.com today at noon CT, so logon and ask questions.
Bryans is in her first year directing the UW women's rowing programs. The openweights earned their second-straight bid to the NCAA rowing championships, held May 27-29 in Rancho Cordova, Calif. Wisconsin also went in 1999 and 2004. The lightweight program comes off its second-ever Eastern Sprints title in the varsity eight, and the first since the 2001 season. The squad will attempt defend its national title at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships on June 3-4 in Camden, N.J.
