Without skipping a beat, BLUE MAN GROUP announces the its mega-successful "HOW TO BE A MEGASTAR TOUR 2.0" will be at the Kohl Center at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Tickets for the second leg of this extravaganza will go on sale Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at 10 a.m.
Tickets are priced at $51.50 and $77.00*, and will be available through the Athletic Ticket Office; online at uwbadgers.com or blueman.com , over the phone by calling 800-GO-BADGERS or 608-262-1440, and in person at the McGinnis Family Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in Kellner Hall at Camp Randall Stadium. Please note that a random number lottery distribution system will be used for the in person on-sale at Camp Randall Stadium.
With their 'How To Be A Megastar Tour 2.0', BLUE MAN GROUP embraces the rules, rituals and raw excitement of that most primal of group experiences: the arena rock concert! This full production tour features state-of-the-art concert technology. Following a highly successful first leg in fall of 2006, the tour's second leg continues to bring the BLUE MAN GROUP experience to arenas and select theaters across the nation throughout the spring of 2007.
Said Executive Tour Producer Paul J. Emery, III of Emery Entertainment, about the tour, 'Response for the first leg of the tour has been incredible and BLUE MAN GROUP fans across the country have spoken---the tour will continue!'
Describing the 2007 tour, Emery said, 'After downloading a tongue-in-cheek `how-to-manual' on becoming a rock star, BLUE MAN GROUP is joined by an eight piece band and subsequently takes us through, step-by-step and song-by-song, every head-bobbing, fist-pumping moment of a real concert with constant hi tech interaction with their audience.'
'How To Be A Megastar Tour 2.0' is produced by St. Louis-based Emery Entertainment and Los Angeles-based Pacific Arts Entertainment. The tour kicks off its second leg of dates on Feb. 1, 2007, and continues through April 22, 2007.
