UW Student-Athletes Collect Toys for Tots

The numbers are in and the annual Wisconsin Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) toy drive was a great success.
The 30-plus members of the SAAC community service committee helped organize the event which took place at the UW men's basketball game Dec. 13 with UW-Milwaukee. Nearly $2200 was contributed that night and 286 new toys were collected as part of the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) consists of two student-athletes from each team. SAAC members are leaders who are involved with recommendations for the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics as well as inspiring student-athletes to become involved in their campus and community.
