Badgers voted crew of the year

The Wisconsin men's rowing heavyweight eight won the action=read&id=385"> --> Row2k.com vote as the crew of the year , according to the Web site.

The poll was slated to continue until the evening of Thursday, Dec. 11, but the site now says the Badgers won the vote. The Badgers were undefeated on their way to the 2008 Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship this past June. The title was the first for the Badgers since 1990 and gave the Badgers their first ever conference and national championship double.
