A different type of football film brought The Longest Yard star and former college halfback to Madison
MADISON, Wis. — A former halfback at Florida State, actor Burt Reynolds famously tackled the topic of football on screen in the 1974 feature The Longest Yard — he'd eventually do so again in the 2005 reboot of the same name — but 20 years after his turn as a prison yard quarterback, he spent two days in Camp Randall Stadium filming a very different pigskin project.
