Drake's Take: Badger bus trips

Drake shares what a typical UW bus trip consists of
Hey, Badger fans!

After three weekends full of successful home games, we will be driving over the border to Mankato, Minnesota, this weekend to take on the Minnesota State Mavericks.
Â
With this being the first bus trip of the year, we will take a look into what these trips consist of for the girls on the team.
Â
Bus trips are a perfect opportunity to finish homework, take a nap, or play cards. For many of us, a huge part of our bus trips is watching our favorite Netflix shows.
Â
"I like to get ahead on school work and occasionally watch my favorite Netflix show Friends," sophomore defensemen Natalie Buchbinder said. "My favorite Friends character is for sure Phoebe."
Â
Junior center Abby Roque seems to have seen almost every show on Netflix but she has recently started a new show.
Â
"I am watching Designated Survivor, which is a show about the presidency & politics of the White House. My favorite character is Tom Kirkman the new president," Roque said.
Â
Sophomore forward Caitlin Schneider also touched on what she spends her time doing on bus trips. "For the most part on the bus ride I try to do homework but after a while, I get pretty sick of it so I start watching Quantico on Netflix."

Junior defensemen Mekenzie Steffen spends her time on the bus finishing up homework before the weekend. "I like the bus because I am usually so productive. I get all my homework done because there's really nothing else for me to do," Steffen said.

We all have our own ways of spending our time on the bus in preparation for the weekend ahead of us.
Â
Hopefully at the end of this bus trip our weekend ends on a positive note, and can head into our bye week excited.
