Updated timeline released for CR Future project
May 19, 2021 | Football, General News
South end zone renovation expected to be completed for 2022 season
Pre-construction has now begun, with the majority of work beginning at the conclusion of the 2021 football season. No seating will be affected for the 2021 season.
The CR Future project was initially announced in October 2019. Construction was due to begin at the conclusion of the 2020 season but that timeline was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The renovation will transform the game-day experience for Badger fans through enhanced premium seating options, access to indoor and outdoor hospitality clubs, climate-controlled amenities, expanded premium food and beverage offerings, dedicated restrooms and best-in-class service and operations.
Initial support for the project has been overwhelmingly positive. Loge boxes and ledge seats have completely sold out, with club seating opportunities now available to select fans and donor groups.
