
Four Badgers picked for World Rowing Under 23 Championships

Catalano, D’Souza, Lacknicova, Cooper chosen for three different countries
MADISON, Wis. – Four Badgers from three different countries were picked to compete at the 2021 World Rowing Under 23 Championships that will take place in Racice, Czech Republic from June 7-11.
Competing for Team USA, senior coxswain James Catalano (Greenwich, Connecticut) will lead the men's four with coxswain while senior Grace D'Souza (Whitefish Bay) will race as part of the women's lightweight quadruple sculls.
Representing host Czech Republic, rising sophomore Josefína Láznicková (Prague, Czech Republic) is set to compete in the women's four.
Finally, senior Hannah Cooper (Norwich, England) made the women's pair for Great Britain.
