Senior takes second in the 200 M backstroke at USA Swimming Trials to advance to Paris
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Add another name to the Badgers headed to the 2024 Paris Olympics as senior Phoebe Bacon qualified Friday at the USA Swimming and Diving Trials in Indianapolis. Bacon took second in the 200-meter backstroke finals to secure her spot at the Paris games.
Bacon finished in a time of 2:06.27, topped only by US champion, Regan Smith, who finished in 2:05.16.
