Badgers Give Back Expands Community Game Day Experience Program

Program provides tickets and more for individuals normally unable to attend UW events
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin Athletics is excited to announce the expansion of its Badgers Give Back ticket program, furthering its commitment to elevating lives and providing access to sports for communities across Wisconsin. This initiative ensures that youth and individuals, who in many cases would not normally attend a Wisconsin Athletics event, can now experience the excitement from premium seats through donated tickets.
Through this program, participants will receive complimentary tickets, merchandise, food and beverages, and photo opportunities, making each game day an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, connection and Badger pride.
Since its launch, the Badgers Give Back program has brought the excitement of Wisconsin Athletics to thousands of individuals and families. While many participants have come from Madison and surrounding areas, the program continues to expand its reach throughout the state, ensuring that Badger pride touches communities far and wide.
A cornerstone of the program is the American Family Children's Hospital partnership, which includes the Bucky's Locker Room Patio and Bucky's Ultimate Game Day experiences. These special initiatives provide patients and their families with memorable, joy-filled experiences that they'll cherish for a lifetime.
With overwhelming positive feedback, the program continues to offer experiences at a wide range of sporting events, including football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's hockey and volleyball. In the 2022 and 2023 seasons alone, over 2,500 tickets were distributed, including nearly 1,000 football tickets, allowing countless individuals and families to connect with the vibrant Badger community.
