MADISON, Wis- The Wisconsin women's soccer team continued Big Ten Conference play with a 2-2 draw against Illinois tonight, Sept. 19.
How it Happened
First Half
UW started the game strong with Erin Connolly taking back-to-back shots within the first five minutes.
Illinois scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute.
Going into halftime, the Badgers led in shots (11-4), shots-on-goal (6-1) and corners (7-1)
Second Half
The offensive momentum shifted to Illinois to start the second.
Illinois widened the lead to 2-0 in the 58th minute.
The Badgers finally capitalize with a goal from Connolly in the 62nd minute.
Maddie Ishaug tied the game in the 87th minute off a pass from Aryssa Mahrt.Â

The Badgers had the upper hand in shots (22-9), shots-on-goal (12-3), and corners (11-1).Â
