Prep: Participated in the Selection Camp and Strength and Conditioning Camp in 2011 and 2012 with the Canadian Women's U-18 team ... competed with the Stoney Creek Junior Sabres for two years, where she was assistant captain and second on the team in points for her goals and assists ... skated at the 2011 IIHF High Performance Women's Hockey Camp in Slovakia with Team Canada ... played for Team Ontario Red in the Canadian National Championships, where she won a gold medal in 2011 and a bronze in 2012... won silver with Hockey Canada at the 2015 Four Nations Cup with Wisconsin teammate Emily Clark
Personal: Parents are Michelle and Roger Nurse ... she has two brothers, Elijah and Isaac ... her cousin, Darnell Nurse, was drafted seventh overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2013 NHL draft ... she is the niece of one-time NCAA basketball player Raquel McNabb and former NFL star Donovan McNabb ... she started playing when she was five ... her intended major is undecided ... her favorite sports other than hockey are volleyball and basketball.
