Named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention … led the Badger shot-blockers in 16 contests … paced the team with 79 blocks and 2.14 blocks per game, which ranked second and fourth among the conference rearguards, respectively … played all 37 games for the Badgers … spent 33 games paired with freshman Josh Ess … scored two goals and a career-best 11 assists … his 13 points eclipsed his previous season point totals combined … took 60 shots on goal, 20 more than his next-highest shot total … had a four-game point streak from Oct. 7-20, scoring six points in the span … recorded back-to-back multi-point games with two assists in the 4-1 win over Merrimack on Oct. 14 and two assists in the 5-4 overtime loss to northern Michigan on Oct. 20 … assisted Wisconsin’s third goal in the 4-4 tie with Michigan on Nov. 18, also blocking seven shots … scored his first goal of the season on Dec. 9 in a 6-2 loss to Notre Dame, tallying a season-high five shots on goal … scored the game-tying goal in the following series in a 3-3 draw with Penn State on Jan. 6 … had assists in both games of the Jan. 26-27 series with Penn State … blocked a season-high eight shots on Jan. 26 against Penn State … had an assist in each game of the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal series at Michigan, March 2-3 … received the team’s Fenton Kelsey, Jr.-Mike Richter Most Competitive award and the Suter Family Unsung Hero award

Tallied his first career assist in UW’s 6-6 tie at Michigan on Dec. 5 ... recorded his second point, an assist, in the 4-4 tie against Michigan on Feb. 13 ... recorded a plus-1 plus/minus rating in four separate games

Before Tischke was a Badger
Skated 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons with the USHL’s Chicago Steel ... he had two goals and 19 points in 56 games during 2014–15 after putting up nine assists in 56 games in his first full season with Chicago in 2013–14 ... also played four games with Chicago during the 2012–13 campaign ... prior to his USHL time, he skated seven seasons for the Chicago Mission ... from Bantam Minor to U-16 (three seasons), he registered 31 points (nine goals, 22 assists).
