Reason for choosing UW-Madison: Since I grew up in Wisconsin, I have always been a Badger fan, so I thought it was a good idea to become a Badger.
What Wisconsin rowing means to you: Rowing is something that is hard to put into words. The sport has shown me that I am so much more capable than I think I am and it was a great way to get involved right when I got to school. Rowing is also the hardest thing I have ever done but I don’t know what I would do without it. There’s nothing really like being out on the water and making the boat go fast.
