2019-20: Finished first in the 500 free (5:05.18) vs. Green Bay (Oct. 4)... placed second in the 1000 free (9:59.62), third in both the 400 LC free (4:28.82) and 200 LC fly (2:23.51), and 11th in the 200 free (1:53.54) at Virginia (Oct. 25)... finished first in the 1000 free, setting a new career-best (9:55.99) and first in the 500 free (4:52.94) at Minnesota (Nov. 8)... placed sixth in the 500 free, setting a new career-best (4:43.57), sixth in the 200 fly (1:59.22) and ninth in the 1650 free, setting a new career-best (16:28.14), was also part of the third-place 800 free relay (7:09.81, 1:49.19 leg) at the NC State Invitational (Nov. 21-23)... finished first in both the 500 free (4:59.47) and 1000 free (10:12.68) in the Badger Red/White Meet (Feb. 1)

2018-19: Qualified for 200 free finals, finishing 22nd overall (1:48.94) at the Big Ten championships ...  placed third in the 500 free (10:47.73) in season-opener vs. Green Bay … qualified for finals in the 500 free, finishing 12th overall (4:46.42) and 200 fly finals, placing 14th overall (2:00.08) at the Texas Hall of Fame Invitational … finished third in the 1000 free (1:34.66) and 500 free (5:04.68) events vs. Hawaii … was the Badgers’ third-place finisher in the 500 free (4:59.07) vs. Iowa and Northwestern 

2017-18: Finished 27th in the 200 fly (2:00.65) and 44th in the 500 free (4:53.38) at the Big Ten Championships ... took 13th in the 200 fly (2:04.83), 14th in the 200 free (1:51.90) and 20th in the 500 free (5:01.95) at the Shamrock Invite ... took fifth in the 1000 free (10:12.99) and sixth in the 200 fly (2:03.84) at USC ... notched a 22nd-place finish in the 200 fly (2:00.90), a 16th-place finish in the 500 free (4:52..21) and a 25th-place spot in the 200 free (1:48.62) at the Texas Invitational ... finished tenth in the 1000-yard free (10:22.80) at the Big Ten quad in Minnesota  ... finished sixth in the 200 fly (2:04.84) vs. NC State ... made Badgers debut, finishing seventh in the 200 free (1:53.38) vs. Georgia

Personal: Parents are Peggy Tumey and Robert Waechter … has one sibling, Berlin Waechter
