2021: Started in all 22 games for UW totaling 2,085 minutes and 82 saves. Allowed 17 goals against. She had a season high 10 saves against Rutgers on 10/31. Ranked second in the Big Ten with nine shutouts and fourth in goals against average (0.73). Selected 26th overall by Racing Louisville FC in the 2022 NWSL Draft. She was named to the Big Ten's All-Academic Team in fall 2021.
2021 spring: Started all 14 games for UW and is one of two players to compete in all 1320 minutes for the Badgers. Recorded a record of 7-3-3 and tallied 45 saves. Bloomer led all Big Ten keepers in shutouts with seven and finished third in the conference in goals against average (.682). She earned first-team All-North honors from United Soccer Coaches and was named the Big Ten goalkeeper of the year for the second straight season.
2019: Started in all 22 games in goal as the backbone to Wisconsin’s Sweet 16 run this season. Led the Badgers to an undefeated record in Big Ten Conference with 14 wins and12 shutouts, which ranked 4th in school history. Second goalkeeper in program history to receive All-American first-team honors. Played most minutes on the team with 2,043. Recorded 68 total saves for a 0.850 save percentage and had 12 goals against for a 0.53 goals against average, which ranks sixth in school history.
2018: Started in all 22 games for Wisconsin...first career start at Marquette (8/20)...allowed 19 goals....0.83 goals against average...73 saves on the season with a .793 save percentage. 14-4-4 record with eight shutouts and 192 shots faced. Eight shutouts puts her on the top-10 list for most saves in a season in program history.
2017: Appeared in two games, 42 minutes total. Tallied one save on one faced shot.
2016: Did not see game action.
High School: Bloomer comes from Hartland, Wisconsin, where she attended Arrowhead High School and played for FC Wisconsin Eclipse. Bloomer is a goalkeeper who has been a member of the U.S. women's national team youth system. She was one of 24 players called into the U.S. Under-19 women's national team training camp last October. Bloomer was a member of the ECNL Player Development Program in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She also attended the 2014 NIKE National Training Camp.
Jordyn's parents are Mark and Jackie Bloomer. She has one sister, Marissa, and one brother, Jake.
Head Coach Paula Wilkins: "Jordyn is another local player from Wisconsin that we're happy to have. She comes from the same high school as another one of our signees, Payton Wesley. Jordyn is a talented goalkeeper who has been in U.S. youth national team camp for some time. We believe Jordyn is one of the hot, young goalkeepers coming out of her age bracket. She's also done really well playing with FC Wisconsin Eclipse and has had a significant impact in her team's success. She has a great presence in goal, a strong kicking game and commands the field well. Overall, she is just a solid goalkeeper that we think is going to get better and better. She's really going to create some competition among the goalkeeper group here at Wisconsin."
