Student Season Tickets

Men’s basketball student season tickets go on sale to all degree seeking undergraduate, graduate and professional students beginning Wednesday, September 24 at 7:30 a.m. CST. Tickets will be sold online at UWBadgers.com. Student season tickets include 13 student vouchers, one good for each of the 13 home games (excluding games over winter break). The student season ticket is $176 (includes $20 per ticket fee). Students may purchase one (1) student season voucher.

Mobile Voucher Delivery

Student season ticket holders will be sent mobile vouchers approximately two weeks prior to the start of the season, to the email listed on their student ticket account, no exceptions. Students can permanently update their email address by logging into their student athletic ticket account and editing the address in “My Profile”. Student men’s basketball season ticket holders will receive a set of mobile vouchers that includes one voucher per home game (excluding winter break games). Mobile student vouchers are to be downloaded directly to your mobile wallet on your iPhone or Android device prior to arrival at the Kohl Center. Additional details will be provided regarding mobile vouchers before vouchers are sent.

Student Winter Break Tickets

Hey students, will you be in Madison over winter break? We want you to know that students have the opportunity to purchase student tickets for each home game played over winter break.

Student single game tickets for Winter Break Games will go on-sale Thursday, September 25 at 7:30 a.m. CST online at UWBadgers.com.

Winter Break Games

  • Monday, December 22 vs. Central Michigan
  • Tuesday, December 30 vs. Milwaukee
  • Saturday, January 3 vs. Purdue
  • Tuesday, January 6 vs. UCLA
  • Saturday, January 17 vs. Rutgers

Students can purchase, for each winter break game, up to two (2) single game tickets for $14 per ticket (includes $1 per ticket fee). Single game student tickets are not vouchers; instead, they are reserved game tickets with a specific section, row and seat. Student single game tickets will be located in student section seating.

Know Before You Go: Basketball at the Kohl Center - Students

Student Gate Entrance

  • Students must enter the Kohl Center at the Student Gate, located between Gates A & B.
  • The student game opens up 90 minutes prior to tip-off.
  • Students will have their mobile voucher scanned and receive a game ticket with a reserved seat that you must sit in.
  • Students should plan to arrive and enter the student gate at the same time as those you wish to be seated with to ensure you receive tickets together.
  • Please note, there are no exchanges once you enter the student gate and receive your ticket.
  • Wisconsin Athletics reserve the right to reassign student ticket holders on game day. Non-UW Madison students, or those supporting the opposing team, may be relocated to seats in the upper level of the student section. Students should be prepared to present a valid UW-Madison Student ID on game day.

Mobile Student Vouchers

Download your student voucher in advance and add to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay App for entry. Have your voucher pulled up on your phone BEFORE you approach the entry gate. Badgers App: Download and manage your student vouchers via the Badgers App Search 'Wisconsin Badgers' in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Once you download the Badgers app, please follow these simple steps on your smartphone: Mobile tickets must be downloaded to your mobile wallet in advance of arrival to the Kohl Center. Mobile tickets may also be accessed by logging onto your Wisconsin Athletics ticket account on UWBadgers.com using a web browser on your smartphone, or by clicking on the individual game tickets in your season ticket delivery email on your smartphone.

Kohl Center Entry/Carry-In Policy

Doors open 90 minutes before each game. Fans are encouraged to review the carry-in policy.
Permitted: Bags no larger than 8.5" x 11", clear totes no larger than 12" x 6" x 12'
Prohibited: Bags larger than 8.5" x 11" (including all backpacks)

Arrive Early (Approx. Entry Times)

  1. 90-45 minutes before: No delays (less than 1 minute to enter)
  2. 45-25 minutes before: Moderate delays (5-10 minutes to enter)
  3. 25 minutes - opening tip: Longer delays (15-25 minutes to enter)

Metal detectors will continue to be used as part of the security screening at the Kohl Center, but fans will no longer need to remove cell phones, keys or other personal items as they walk through the detectors. All bags will still be subject to search upon entry.
