Jack Links Protein Performance Center

We strive to provide education, along with appropriate food and nutrition products, to help student-athletes maximize their performance potential and overall health.

Jack Link’s Protein Performance Centers at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center offer student-athletes:

  • Pre- and post-workout shakes
  • Grab-n-Go fueling for pre-, mid- and post-workout needs
  • Nutrition education graphics and displays

Nutrition is key to performing your best before, during and after competition. The performance nutrition team champions department-wide services and information for all student-athletes. We also support each student-athlete individually with personal evaluations and nutrition counseling.

Here are some of the ways our performance nutrition department supports student-athletes:

  • Nutrition Education
    • Team presentations, individual counseling, cooking classes, social media posts and grocery store tours
  • Nutrition Assessment
    • Vitamin and mineral assessment, DXA bone density screening, body composition analysis and injury prevention
  • Competition Nutrition
    • Fueling plans and product selection, pre-and post-game meal guidance, and nutrition packs
  • Supplement Evaluation
    • Supplement selection and safety, as well as product and usage recommendations
  • Training Table
    • Specially-developed menus including a buffet-style breakfast for all student-athletes
