Extra Benefits

An extra benefit is any special arrangement made by an institutional employee or representative of our athletics interest (booster), to provide you and/or your relatives or friends with a benefit not expressly authorized by the NCAA and not generally available to the student body. Some examples of extra-benefits that are not permissible per NCAA rules include:

  1. Gift of clothing or equipment
  2. Cash or any type of gifts
  3. Loans or cosigning of loans
  4. Vehicle or the use of a vehicle
  5. Payment for or arrangement of transportation costs
  6. Concert or sporting event tickets
  7. Free or reduced cost housing or parking
  8. Free or reduced cost services (haircuts, massages, tattoos, etc.)
  9. Free or reduced cost training or conditioning services (outside sport trainers, fitness consultants, etc. – must pay the going rate for such services)
