The University of Wisconsin Athletics and agriculture partners throughout the state are teaming up once again to hold the 13th annual Celebrate Agriculture Day on Saturday, September 12th as Wisconsin takes on Western Illinois at Camp Randall Stadium!
Make sure you thank a farmer today! Did you know that Wisconsin's nearly 59,000 farms contribute $116.3 billion annually to our state's economy and creates 353,900 jobs? That means 1 in 10 Wisconsin workers are employed in agriculture. Throughout the day we will be recognizing the importance of agriculture in Wisconsin and highlighting those who work in the agriculture and food industry.
