Read On, Wisconsin!

Presented by the James and Sue Patterson Foundation

With the school year winding down across the state, Wisconsin Athletics has announced ‘Read On, Wisconsin!’, a special campaign and contest to encourage literacy and kick off summer reading. Badger fans and young readers can visit public libraries around Wisconsin to pick up unique collectibles and enter a chance to win incredible prizes.

Presented by the James and Sue Patterson Foundation, the campaign begins June 3 and will be activated inside libraries in the Madison, Fox Valley, North Central, South Eastern and South Central regions of Wisconsin. Readers can visit participating libraries to collect special Badger stickers and posters and enter to win Badger football and volleyball tickets, gear, signed memorabilia and more, including Culver’s, Kwik Trip and Scheels gift cards and coupons. The campaign will run inside libraries until June 14, or while supplies last.

‘Read On, Wisconsin!’ is made possible through the cooperation and support of public libraries across the state of Wisconsin. Specific libraries and their locations will be revealed later this month.

Presented by the Patterson Foundation, ‘Read On, Wisconsin!’ helps further the foundation’s mission to strengthen the efforts of people, organizations and communities by focusing on issues that address common aspirations, foster wide participation and encourage learning and sharing. With a focus on literacy, the Badgers’ summer campaign will help foster and celebrate young readers as the school year wraps up and summer reading begins.
