2025 Opening Spike Classic
Event Overview
The Opening Spike Classic is coming to the Kohl Center this fall, serving up the first matches of the season! While this exciting third-party showcase is not included in the 2025 season ticket package, fans won’t want to miss the chance to catch the action live.

Volleyball season ticket holders will still enjoy the benefit of 15 home matches in their season ticket package, consistent with past years.
Match Schedule
The event will begin Friday, August 29 with the opening match of Kansas versus Wisconsin at 6:00 p.m. CT, followed by Texas versus Creighton beginning at 8:30 p.m. CT. One ticket is valid for both matches on Friday. There is no re-entry between matches.

Action will resume Sunday, August 31 with Texas and Wisconsin playing at 1:00 p.m. CT and Kansas and Creighton to follow at 3:30 p.m. CT. One ticket is valid for both matches on Sunday. There is no re-entry between matches.

Donor & Volleyball Season Ticket Holder Ticket Pre-Sales
Donors to Wisconsin Athletics and volleyball season ticket holders will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase Opening Spike Classic tickets prior to the general public on-sale.

General Public Ticket Sales
All general public tickets will go on-sale on Wednesday, April 30 at 9 a.m. and are subject to availability. There is a six (6) ticket limit per day. The fastest and most convenient way to purchase Opening Spike Classic tickets is online by visiting UWBadgers.com.
Mobile Ticket Delivery
Opening Spike Classic tickets will be sent digitally via mobile ticket delivery the week of August 25. Mobile tickets will be delivered to the email address on file. Mobile tickets are to be added to mobile wallet in advance and scanned using tap to scan on a mobile device for entry.

Wisconsin Athletics reserves the right to review all transactions and to revoke tickets from any account determined by Wisconsin Athletics, in its sold discretion, to have purchased tickets with the primary intent to resell them. No refund or credit will be given. By purchasing this product, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Accessible Tickets
Seating for patrons with accessible ticket needs is available for the Opening Spike Classic. Accessible seats are spaces specifically designed for wheelchairs, people with mobility disabilities or individuals who have a disability that requires use of the accessible features that are provided in accessible seating. Accessible seats may be used as companion seats. Patrons purchasing one (1) ticket for an accessible seat may purchase up to three (3) additional contiguous seats for their companions in the same row, or six (6) total tickets. Sections with the (ADA) designation in the above charts under the Ticket Prices section indicate wheelchair accessible seating.

Tickets for UW-Madison students for the Opening Spike Classic are on-sale now! Tickets are just $6. Ticket price is inclusive of per ticket fees.
Friday, August 29 is Student Night at the Kohl Center as the Badgers take on Kansas!

Parking will not be sold in advance.
Parking will be sold day-of-match on a first-come, first-serve basis based on availability from the lot attendant for $5 beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 29 and 9 a.m. on Sunday, August 31. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted for payment.
