Academic All-Big Ten ... posted second consecutive 20-point season (seven goals, 13 points)... ranked sixth on the team in scoring... the Badgers were 8-2-2 when he recorded a point... posted a shorthanded goal and was a career-high plus-three in a 7-3 win over Penn State on Feb. 23... tallied the game-winning assist on three occasions including a 6-2 win over Michigan Tech on Oct. 27, a 5-3 win over Michigan State on Dec. 7 and against Penn State on Feb. 23... enjoyed a career-high three-point effort against Boston College on Oct. 23, tallying a goal and two assists in the 7-5 victory over the Eagles... tallied six multi-point efforts in 37 games... had a four-game point streak from Nov. 24 to Dec. 7, tallying one goal and five assists for six points in the stretch... ranked second in shots on goal with 90 shots... played in all 37 games for UW

Before Baker was a Badger
Spent the last half of the 2016–17 season with the USHL’s Sioux City Musketeers, scoring six goals and adding nine assists in 25 games to help the team reach the Clark Cup finals ... prior to joining Sioux City, played for the USHL’s Bloomington Thunder since 2014 ... holds the franchise all-time points record with 84, while ranking second in both goals (37) and assists (47) ... captained the 2016-17 team, scoring 11 goals and seven assists in 33 games ... served as alternate captain in 2015-16, putting up 54 points on 22 goals and 32 assists to pace the Thunder and record the most points per season in Thunder history ... reached the 2015-16 conference finals and won the award for Most Offensive Forward ... scored 17 points on six goals and 11 assists in his first season with the Thunder ... played three games with the Des Moines Buccaneers in 2013-14 before being traded to the Thunder ... scored a goal and five assists at the 2017 World Junior A Challenge, helping Team USA to the gold medal ... also won a gold medal when he skated for the U.S. Under-17 Team at the Five Nations Tournament
