Eligibility (Indoor/Outdoor Track): Freshman

High School

Senior year was all conference in the 800, 4x800 relay and 4x400 relay. Two time school record holder in the 4x800 relay her freshman year. Named one of Top Female Athletes her freshman and junior years by hometown newspaper, Journal and Courier.

Personal

Daughter of Ed and Christine Sammons. Father, Ed, ran track at IU; currently holds the school record for the 600 meters and was a member of the Big 10 Championship indoor and outdoor team 1990-1991. Has two younger siblings; Peter and Maggie. Graduated high school with honors and academic award of excellence for soccer and track and field.
