Collin Whelan is a cheer assistant for the University of Wisconsin. A Wisconsin native from Sun Prairie, Whelan brings a championship pedigree and a passion for collegiate cheerleading to the Badger program.
Whelan is a multi-time national champion, having earned titles with Purdue University (as a coach), Morehead State University (as an athlete), and Sun Prairie High School (as an athlete in both partner stunt and large coed) during his cheerleading career. His experience at these top-tier programs has equipped him with a deep understanding of competitive cheer at the highest level.

Now back in his home state, Whelan is excited to contribute to the success of Wisconsin Cheer and help elevate the program with his championship mindset and team-first mentality.
