Marvin Lovo joined the Wisconsin Athletics Academic & Career staff in August 2025 as a Learning Specialist.
Before coming to Wisconsin, Marvin served as a Learning Specialist at Tulane University, where she provided holistic academic support to student-athletes, led academic screenings for incoming students, and oversaw the Educational Assistant program. She also collaborated with Disability Services and international student-athletes to address unique academic and cultural challenges.
Prior to Tulane, Marvin was an Assistant Learning Specialist at TCU, supporting student-athletes through individualized instruction and leading efforts in tutor and academic coach programming. She began her career in student-athlete support as a Graduate Assistant in both the Athletics Department and the Dean of Students Office at Texas Tech University.
Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Marvin earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Sport Administration from Mississippi State University in 2021 and is currently completing a Master’s in Educational Psychology from Texas Tech University.
