Kopaygorodsky currently works closely with the personnel and recruiting staff and Badger coaches to identify and evaluate high school and transfer portal prospects, coordinate recruiting operations and assist in the program's roster construction strategy.
Before carving out a role directly with the personnel and recruiting department, Kopaygorodsky worked with the Badger running backs during the 2024 season and and spent time as an intern with the football strength and conditioning staff in 2023.
Kopaygorodsky spent two years at Cincinnati before joining the Badgers, where he worked in the Bearcats' recruiting and scouting department after beginning his professional career as an intern in the athletic department's financial office.
A former running back at Cincinnati and a Mason, Ohio native, Kopaygorodsky earned a full scholarship after joining the program as a walk-on and helped the Bearcats win two American Athletic Conference championships and earn a berth in the 2022 College Football Playoff. He graduated from Cincinnati in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in finance.
