Nate was born and raised in Madison Wisconsin and graduated from West High School just up the road from the UW Madison campus.Â
He followed his dreams of being a Badger and graduated in 1983 from the Wisconsin School of Business with a BBA in Finance. He furthered his business education and graduated in 1985 with an MS in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis.Â
Professionally, he began his business career at a young age selling sodas and hotdogs on Saturday afternoons at Camp Randall Stadium. Upon graduation he was employed by the Prudential Insurance Company of America for many years and was involved in real estate asset management and development. After leaving Prudential, he continued his real estate career developing and managing multifamily communities primarily in the Madison area.Â
He has also been involved in many family-owned operating businesses.
Nate is an active member of the Badger Basketball Booster Overtime Club, a director of Velcor Leasing Corporation and longtime director and treasurer of Coconut Grove Cares, a non-profit organization, that offers after-school and summer programs for disadvantaged youth in Miami, Florida.
