Nick Reick joined the University of Wisconsin in 2025 as Director of Athlete Administration, bringing nearly a decade of high-level experience in basketball operations, scouting and player evaluation across the NBA, WNBA, G League, NCAA and international competition.
Reick most recently served as Assistant General Manager and Director of Basketball Operations for the Windy City Bulls, the G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls. In that role, he worked closely with the Bulls' front office on player evaluation, intel gathering and scouting at both the G League and NBA levels. He also managed all aspects of team operations and logistics, while developing strong relationships with agents, players and league officials.
His career includes key roles with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz and Salt Lake City Stars (NBA/G League), Dallas Wings (WNBA), UCLA Women’s Basketball and the University of Houston. Reick has built and maintained draft boards, conducted in-depth free agency analysis, and contributed to roster construction through advanced scouting and analytics. He also served as Team Manager and Video Coordinator for the German National Team at several major FIBA events, including the World Cup and Olympic Games.
Originally from Germany, Reick moved to the United States in 2014 after earning his degree in Global Economics & Management from Jacobs University in Bremen. His mother is originally from the Washington, D.C. area and his father from Bremen, Germany. He has two sisters: Virginia, who works for Google in Dublin, and Sarah, who works for Estée Lauder in Munich.
In May 2025, Reick married Patience Walker, a native of Los Angeles.
