Sue is a 1980 graduate from the UW School of Education, and she taught elementary education in the greater Milwaukee area for several years. The proud mother of two sons (who are UW alumni), Sue volunteered in their classrooms and led enrichment programs at their schools. She encouraged her sons’ participation in numerous sports and served for eight years on the high school hockey board. While attending UW-Madison, Sue was a member of the Men's Basketball cheerleading squad. She is a season ticket holder for Football, and Men's and Women's Basketball. A dedicated supporter of UW-Madison, Sue has given generously to the School of Education, the School of Veterinary Medicine, Parents Enrichment Fund, Men's and Women's Basketball teams, Men's and Women's Hockey Teams, and the Men's and Women's Rowing Teams to name a few. She serves on the Carbone Cancer Center Innovation Fund Community Board, donating to their needs as well as other UW Health programs she is passionate about. Sue is on the 100 Women's Wall of Honor at the School of Human Ecology.
