  • played in NHL for 11 years with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Hartford Whalers, St. Louis Blues, New Jersey Devils and the Minnesota North Stars
  • UW men's assistant coach from 1996-2002
  • became UW women's head coach in 2003 and led his team to an NCAA championship in 2006, 2007 and 2009
  • served as head coach of the women's 2010 U.S. Olympic Team
