- Played 9 seasons professionally in Germany and in the International Hockey League, where he was awarded the 1990-91 IHL Ironman Award.
- Head Coach (1995-1998) and General Manager (1998-2000) of the United States Hockey League Twin City Vulcans
- General Manager of the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team
- On the Team USA Staff for 19 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships (GM, Assistant GM, Team Leader, Hockey Operations), five Olympic Games and nine U.S. National Junior Championships (GM with six medals - 3 Gold)
- During his USA Hockey tenure, Team USA captured 64 medals in international play including 34 gold, 19 silver, and 11 bronze
