Rogers Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

The Big Ten Conference named sophomore Dale Rogers Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 13. Rogers was honored for his efforts in the Badgers' 187-101 win over Northwestern Nov. 8.
Rogers (Oroville, Calif.) finished first in four events against the Wildcats. He touched first in the 50 freestyle (:20.59) and 100 freestyle (:45.31).
Rogers picked up his other two wins as a member of the 200 free relay and the 400 medley relay. As the anchor in the 400 medley relay, Rogers helped the Badgers to a UW Natatorium pool record time of 3:21.00 in the event.
