Badgers Split With Eagles

The Badgers fell to Boston College tonight with a final score of 3-1, evening out the series at one game a piece. The series was the Badgers' third of the season, and their third split.
After a scoreless first period sophomore Tony Voce put the Eagles on the board at 1:22 in the second period. The power play goal was his fifth of the season and was assisted by sophomores Ben Eaves and J.D. Forrest.
The Badgers answered two minutes later when senior Kent Davyduke took advantage of a Wisconsin power play, evening the score at 1-1. Freshman Alex Leavitt and senior David Hukalo connected with Davyduke, assisting him with his third goal on the season.
Boston College's Jeff Guiliano scored for the fourth time this season, putting the Eagles up 2-1 at 5:21 in the second period. The senior's goal was assisted by freshmen Dave Spina and Ryan Shannon.
In the third period Eaves gave the Eagles a little security with his fourth goal of the season. Assisting him were Guiliano and Dave Spina.
Next weekend the Badgers go on the road where they will meet Minnesota-Duluth. The action begins Friday night at 7:05 p.m.
