Indiana Advances To Final In Triple-Overtime Thriller

The first semifinal game of the Big Ten Championship, held at the McClimon Soccer Complex today, was not decided until the third overtime with top-seeded Indiana defeating No. 4 seed Michigan by a final margin of 1-0.
The Big Ten Player of the Year, IU junior Pat Noonan, scored the game 's only goal in the 123rd minute, firing a bullet into the far corner from about 25 yards away. Vijay Dias was credited with the assist.
Sophomore goalkeeper Joe Zawacki made seven saves for the Wolverines as Michigan was outshot 22-12.
Indiana advances to Sunday's championship game to face either Michigan State or Penn State. Kickoff on Sunday is at 2 p.m.
